Burt Brothers supports Utah outstanding teacher rewards program
NORTH SALT LAKE, Utah — Burt Brothers Tire & Services recently teamed up with other local businesses to help reward one of Utah’s outstanding teachers.
Rupali Munot, a fourth-grade teacher at Oakcrest Elementary in West Jordan, Utah, was selected as the Zions Bank 2018 Teacher Feature Winner, and received a two-year lease on a car with all-expenses-paid maintenance, both courtesy of Burt Brothers.
The Teacher Feature program began in 1994 as a way to honor teachers for the impact they have on the lives of those they teach. Each school year, the program receives nominations, and teachers are recognized weekly for their outstanding contributions. At the end of the year, one teacher is chosen for special recognition, which includes the two-year automotive lease.
“We acknowledge the valuable contributions of all the teachers in our community to the development of our youth,” said Jeremy Burt, Operations Manager at Burt Brothers Tire & Services. “Your selfless efforts to advance the interests of our youth will always be appreciated. Congratulations, Rupali, and thank you to all the teachers in the state of Utah.”
This year, in addition to the car, Ms. Munot also received season tickets from Hale Center Theater, a stay at Anniversary Inn and dinner at Temple Square’s Roof Restaurant.
The winner, according to Burt Brothers, was chosen by a panel of judges that included of judges from Burt Brothers Tire & Service, the State Office of Education, Zions Bank and KSL NewsRadio.
