France boss Deschamps: Martial to Juventus? I’ll only offer my opinion…

France national team boss Didier Deschamps says he will offer his opinion to Anthony Martial over where his future at club level lies.

The Manchester United attacker is being linked with a move to Juventus as competition for places has increased at Old Trafford since the arrival of Alexis Sanchez in January.

And Deschamps, a former Juventus player himself, remained coy on Martial’s link with the Serie A giant, but revealed he would talk with the 22-year-old when he has the chance.

“Martial has a contract with United and the club does not want to sell him,” Deschamps told Tuttosport.

“Then let’s see if he will be looked for, by Juventus or by someone else.”

When quizzed on what he will do if asked for advice Deschamps added: “I do not give advice, I give my opinion. Then, eventually, it is up to the players to decide.”
