How to listen to songs on Amazon Prime Music

61 / 100 SEO Score

In many ways, I am a kind of old school of things. I regretted the fact that a car we bought in 2018 did not have a CD player. For some reason, it took me forever to adopt wireless headphones while running. And despite having used Amazon Prime to order everything from cat litter to batteries and mouthwash since 2006, I did not start using Prime Music until last year, even though I had access to it for years before.

Now that we use Amazon Prime Music, I’m hooked, online and in sinker. I no longer miss the CD player in my car, because I have access to millions of songs through the Prime Music application on my phone.

If you already have Amazon Prime, you have access to about two million songs through the basic version of Prime Music. You can also increase that number of songs by approximately 50 million songs if you pay an additional $ 7.99 per month for Prime Music Unlimited.

When you use the Prime Music app on your phone, you can create playlists, download melodies to play offline (such as when you’re on an airplane) and you can tune in to thousands of playlists created by Amazon employees, lists like 50 more played or music to exercise.

For registration, if you are one of the few people who does not have a Prime membership but has an Amazon Echo in the house, you can enjoy free music streaming through Amazon’s Alexa, albeit with occasional ads.

Amazon Prime Music Unlimited is worth $ 7.99 extra?

For my money, which is again $ 7.99 per month, Amazon Prime Music Unlimited is worth it. I still have to think of a song that I wanted to hear and that I could not find.

My unlimited subscription also dispelled one of the only major problems I had with the basic version of Prime Music: the songs that disappear from the catalog. At least a few times a week, I discovered that a song from one of my playlists had vanished and was no longer available. It’s not a big problem, but definitely a frustration.

Another problem is that if you want to be able to play Prime Music on more than one device simultaneously, you need to update your subscription. That or you and your SO can participate in a constant battle of skill while you fight for sonic supremacy.
