Ivory Coast 2017 cotton exports down 6 pct

ABIDJAN, Jan 30 (Reuters) – Ivory Coast exported 324,726 tonnes of cotton in 2017, down almost 6 percent from the previous year, provisional port data showed on Tuesday.

The main port of Abidjan is also the primary export point for cotton produced in Ivory Coast’s landlocked neighbours Mali and Burkina Faso.

The following figures show cotton exports for December in tonnes:
