Jack Williams relocates store in Lancaster, Pa., area
LANCASTER, Pa. — Jack Williams Tire has relocated one of its three locations in the Lancaster area to a purpose-built eight-bay facility in the city’s Lime Spring Square development.
The dealership relocated the tire and auto service business, formerly called Jack Williams/Lebzelters in Millersville, Pa., and its 12 employees about three miles from the previous location. The shop was rebranded as Jack Williams Tire.
The company, almost 90 years old, has 36 locations, mostly in Central and Northeastern Pennsylvania.
Greg Diritto, who has been with Jack Williams Tire for more than eight years, will continue as general manager of the new location.
“We are excited about the upgrade in store and our relocation to the new Lime Spring Square development,” said Jason Williams, executive vice president of Jack Williams Tire.
According to the company, the store features a modern, customer-focused design that includes a kid-friendly waiting area, free wi-fi, an Internet bar and free shuttle service. The location has the latest equipment from Hunter Engineering Co., including Road Force wheel balancers, tire changers and drive-on alignment machines.
The location offers consumers an inventory of name brand tires and custom wheels, the company said, and it can perform a variety of auto service and repairs, including state inspection, brakes, wheel alignments, oil changes and other maintenance.
Jack Williams did not disclose the store’s physical size nor the investment to build it.
The new store replaces a five-bay store in nearby Millersville that Jack Williams had acquired three years ago when it bought Lebzelter’s Total Car Care’s three locations in the Lancaster area.
The Lime Spring Square development is an up-and-coming section of Lancaster, located northwest of downtown. It is open Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday, 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
