JRF in Mechanical Engineering at CEMILAC, Bangalore

Centre for Military Airworthiness & Certification, Marathahalli Colony Post, Bangalore-560037, under Defence Research & Development Organisation, Ministry of Defence, Government of India, is offering one Junior Research Fellowships in Mechanical Engineering.

JRF will be available for a period of two years which is extendable as per rules. It carries a monthly stipend of Rs. 25,000/- and House Rent Allowance as per rules.

Applicant should hold a Graduate Degree in Professional course, B.E/B.Tech, in Mechanical Engineering discipline in first division with NET/GATE or should hold a Post Graduate Degree in Professional course (M.E/M.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering discipline in first division both at Graduate & Post Graduate Level.

Applicant should not be over 28 years as on last date of receipt of application. The upper age limit will be relaxed for those belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and OBC as per Government of India orders.

Application: Type written application with complete Bio-data along with Xerox copy of testimonials should reach ‘The Chief Executive (Airworthiness), CEMILAC, DRDO, Ministry of Defence, Marathahalli Colony Post, Bangalore- 560037’ within 21 days from the date of publication of the advertisement (The advertisement was published in the Employment News dated 20-26 January, 2018), in a cover super-scribed ‘APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF JRF’, clearly in bold letters.

Applicant should affix a recent passport size photograph on the right top corner of the first page of application. Applicant should also attach a crossed Indian Postal Order/Bank Draft for Rs. 10/- drawn in favour of ‘Chief Executive (Airworthiness), CEMILAC’, payable at State Bank of India, HAL Branch, Bangalore Branch (IFSC Code No.SBIN0001114) (MICR No. 560002018) along with the application. Those belonging to SC/ST/OBC and PH are exempted from this payment. Those working in Government/Public Sector Undertakings/Autonomous bodies should apply through proper channel.

Selection will be based on interview and on the basis of norms prescribed for the post applied for. Candidates will be required to produce Certificates/Testimonials in original at the time of Interview. The candidate who is awarded as Junior Research Fellowship should enrol for Ph.D within Six months of their joining.
