Namo eWaste Launches Planet Namo: An Online Electronic Store with a Difference

Currently launched with a Beta Version, Planet Namo- an online platform for recycled & refurbished products will contribute to reducing the generation of electronics waste and making the user more responsible by letting him/her contribution to the sustainability of the environment.

Namo eWaste Management Ltd, a revolutionary e-waste recycling startup which picks up all kind of electronic waste and recycles them into different usable products launches the B2C online platform called Planet Namo. With Planet Namo, the idea is to focus on reducing the carbon footprint of every individual. This online model will allow the users to buy, sell, and rent a variety of used electronic gadgets and appliances, thereby extending the lifecycle of these products and bringing the user monetary and environmental gains.

Namo E-Waste came into action in the year 2016 after receiving all important licenses with the philosophy that a useless device for someone can turn into a useful device for someone else. Led by Mr. Akshay Jain, the company has a presence in 17 states in India currently (Punjab, Delhi, Haryana, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Goa, Telangana, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Bihar, Assam, MP, UP, and West Bengal) and plans on expanding in 18 other states and union territories soon. With its revolutionary collection model through franchises & channel partners, Namo has been able to reach out to the 70% of the e-waste generated in the country.

Planet Namo’s innovative retail format allows its users to browse through an assortment of refurbished electronic appliances and gadgets. The online platform also buys the user’s disused hardware in any condition, in exchange for cash or any product listed in their online category. The company aims to collect good volumes of discarded electronics directly from the consumer doorstep. This will be processed where the customer is paid instantly and handed over a safe disposal certificate assuring the safe disposal of e-waste. This will vanish the role of informal recyclers involved in the trade.
