Online marketplace Lazada is turning to livestreaming and training sellers

Online market Lazada turned to live streaming and training sellers to help drive platform growth, the COO said on Wednesday.

There is a “very good momentum” in e-commerce services including payment and marketing solutions, Carlos Barrera told.

“Filipinos are becoming more aware of the customers and sellers … We see the progress very encouraging,” Barrera said.

“The Philippines is one of the fastest growing. It’s true that we come from a low base but when we compare it with colleagues in Southeast Asia, we grow very fast,” Barrera said.
