Procter & Gamble sells South Boston campus building for $11.5 million

Procter & Gamble has sold its South Boston Gillette building and parking lot to a real estate developer for $11.5 million, according to a report by the Cincinnati Business Courier.

The sale to Boston-based real estate developer Anchor Line Partners included the 30,000 square foot building at 18-22 W.Third St, which was part of the Gillette division’s South Boston campus and was previous used as a lab some years ago.

First listed in November 2017, P&G spokesperson Kara Buckley said the company considered the strong retail market and the opportunity to enchance the neighbourhood in its decision to sell.

She stated, “We received a great deal of interest in the listing and were pleased with the response. Nothing else is listed for sale.”

It is not known for what purpose Anchor Line Partners plans to use the building and 0.26-acre parking lot.
